SIX Digital Exchange (SDX), the digital assets arm of Swiss exchange SIX, has appointed Marco Kessler as the business head of digital securities.
It is a promotion for Kessler who was most recently a blockchain research and development design leader at the digital asset exchange.
He joined SDX in October 2018 where he played a “pivotal role in building the platform from the ground up”.
He previously worked at Accenture where he was a management and technology consultant.
During his time there he contributed to digital transformation projects for global Swiss banks, particularly wealth managers and advisors.
The appointment is subject to FINMA approval.
