Intertrust completes CSC rebrand

Intertrust completes CSC rebrandEU-based specialist fund administrator Intertrust has adopted the CSC brand name 18 months after it was acquired by CSC.

Both companies will now operate under the CSC brand.

"Intertrust Group has been part of the CSC family for more than a year now," said Rob Ward, chief executive of CSC.

"The name change reflects our desire to be a fully integrated and unified brand as we explore the next exciting chapter of our growth together.”

The rebrand comes two weeks after Intertrust’s Luxembourg business was fined €162,500 for “non-compliance with depositary obligations” under the AIFMD.

The penalty was issued following an on-site inspection carried out by the Luxembourg regulator CSSF.

A statement issued to Luxembourg media stated: “Concrete steps have been taken since these shortcomings were identified to strengthen the firm’s depositary function--including redesigning its structure, revamping the corresponding control framework, deploying a project for the implementation of a dedicated depositary platform, and setting up a Depositary Committee with oversight of depositary duties.”
