Allfunds turns to Google Cloud

Allfunds turns to Google CloudFunds distribution platform Allfunds has partnered with Google Cloud in a bid to enhance its analytics capabilities.

According to Allfunds, the partnership will focus on two tech priorities – the use of AI to improve its data management and analytics; and the development of a new, cloud-based technology architecture.

As a result, claims Allfunds, clients will benefit from a more robust infrastructure and the ability to gain deeper insights from investors’ behaviour.

“Our collaborative efforts will empower Allfunds clients with the tools and insights they need to make better informed decisions and drive growth,” said Tara Brady, president, Google Cloud for Emea.

Allfunds is one of a growing number of fund managers and investment services to have turned to the cloud in recent months. The list includes the likes of Citadel Securities, Deutsche Boerse, MSCI, State Street and LSEG.

The announcement comes on the back of Allfunds posting a positive trading update for the first quarter of 2024 in which the Madrid-based distribution platform saw assets under management grow by 4% to €1.43 trillion.
