FundsTech conference to take place in April

FundsTech conference to take place in AprilFundsTech is set to hold its first ever all-day conference next month.

The FundsTech Forum will take place in London on April 25th and will feature leading figures from the funds market discussing a range of technology-themed topics including tokenisation, digital transformation, regulation and Web3.

Confirmed speakers include the chief digital and data officer at BNP Paribas Asset Management, the CEO of Jacobi Asset Management and the chief digital officer at Caceis.

The event will also feature a series of short roundtable events hosted by selected speakers giving delegates a chance to get directly involved in the day’s discussions.

Nicholas Pratt, technology & operations editor at Funds Europe and FundsTech, said: “FundsTech originally launched in 2016 with the aim of holding regular quarterly events across Europe to bring together technologists and fintech startups with fund managers and asset servicers.

“The concept was borne out of a desire for these two sides of the market together in a public setting.”

Nick Fitzpatrick, editor of Funds Europe, said: “So-called ‘disruption’ has long been a theme within the fintech world but the objective of the FundsTech project is to engender more cooperation to achieve the ultimate goal of a more efficient, accessible and cost-effective cross-border funds market that benefits all participants, but particularly investors.”

The all-day event will also be the first in-person FundsTech event since the global pandemic hit in early 2020.
