Ostrum AM appoints transformation head

Digital ageFrance-based Ostrum Asset Management has named Christoph Thywissen as chief transformation officer.

He will report to Mathieu Cheula, chief operating officer of the firm formerly known as Natixis Investment Management.

In the newly created role, Thywissen will be responsible for Ostrum’s various digital transformation projects including the development of a new digital service for clients, enhancing data governance and implementing the firm’s ESG programme, ESG Ostrum New Ecosystem.

“In order to offer our clients a digital and customised investment experience, Ostrum AM needs to accelerate its transformation through technology investment, data management and the ever more demanding structuring of its process,” said COO Cheula, explaining why the new role was created.

Thywissen joined Ostrum AM in 2017 as head of risk and was appointed as director of transformation in February 2022.
