A former operations executive at UK hedge fund Man Group has been named as chief operating officer (COO) for the investment management department of Jupiter Asset Management.
Alison Hollingshead spent close to two decades at Man Group and was most recently chief of staff for its trading platform and core technology.
Having joined the firm in 2004, Hollingshead took on a number of roles including equity trader and business risk and strategy manager before being appointed as head of investment management services in 2015.
In addition to heading up the trading platform and core technology division, Hollingshead was also head of transformation at Man Group.
Her appointment comes just over a year after the hiring of James Kelly as fund management COO at Jupiter in February 2021.
