JP Morgan launches buy-side data management platform

Data linesJP Morgan Securities Service has rolled out a data management platform aimed at institutional investors.

The service, called Fusion, is designed to enable investors and fund managers to combine data from multiple sources into a single management model.

This capability is seen as critical if firms are to manage their ever-expanding reporting requirements.

According to JP Morgan, the cloud-native platform will combine data with a governance framework that can be used “across the investment lifecycle”.

"Investment managers use a wide range of data sources with varying formats to run their business but the effort to gather, clean, and organise this data is often manual and resource intensive,” said Gerard Francis, head of data solutions, securities services, JP Morgan. "We are designing Fusion to remove the friction and make data instantly usable for our clients.”.
