Intertrust hires head of fund operations

intertrustFund administration firm Intertrust has appointed Derek Ramage as head of fund operations.

Based in Luxembourg, Ramage will oversee the shaping and delivering client service excellence and continuing to expand the company’s private capital fund business based in the Grand Duchy.

In this new role, he will also be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Netherlands-based firm’s fund operations.

Ramage joins from International Financial Data Services, where he served as head of change management and IT governance.

He has also held various senior positions including as global head of product services and product set-up at BNP Paribas and deputy CEO and head of service management at Dutch bank ABN AMRO.

According to Lee Godfrey, Intertrust’s managing director for western Europe, Ramage’s appointment – a “key signing” – forms part of the firm’s long-term growth strategy in the region.
