The FSA’s licence gives GCEX access to the EU market.

More specifically, the prime broker will be able to offer rolling spot FX and contract-for-difference (CFD) trading for institutional clients within the EU.

The move has been described as a “significant milestone” by GCEX.

It is also a key development in GCEX’s European expansion efforts and comes just a week after the firm appointed Tilman Schultz as head of partnerships with the responsibility for developing business in the German-speaking regions of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
