Crestbridge appoints two in Luxembourg

People Moves SmallJersey-based fund administrator Crestbridge has expanded its senior Luxembourg team with the appointment of Aleksander Jakima as director and day-to-day manager, and Sue Saddul (pictured) as director and conducting officer.

The move comes ahead of an anticipated period of further growth in the jurisdiction.

Prior to joining Crestbridge, Jakima had worked across jurisdictions in the structuring and overseeing of funds for major banks and fund administration companies across Ireland, Italy, Poland and Luxembourg.  

Over his career he has developed an in-depth knowledge of all aspects funds and significant corporate governance as well as risk and compliance experience working across the hedge fund, private equity and Ucits space.

Jakima is joined in the bolstered senior team by Sue Saddul as conducting officer for Crestbridge’s management company (ManCo) and director. She is now in charge of portfolio management for real assets at the Luxembourg office.

Saddul has worked with multi-national institutions in Luxembourg as well as institutional, private businesses and start-ups in the UK and Mauritius.

These appointments are a reflection of the continued growth seen across the Crestbridge Group in 2018, including in Luxembourg, the firm said.

“We are witnessing rising demand for high quality solutions in support of cross-border investment fund, M&A, structured financing and other corporate activity,” said Daniela Klasén-Martin, managing director of the Luxembourg office and group head of Crestbridge’s ManCo services.
