Art investment platform partners with wealth manager

Mintus, art, amergeris wealth, UK-based fractional art investment platform Mintus has struck a partnership with Swiss asset manager Amergeris Wealth Management, part of the Amicorp Group, in a move that both entities claim will provide investors with exposure to art.

Mintus was established in Q2 2022 with the mission to create an investment platform that generated greater access to art through tokenisation.

The ability to fractionalise illiquid assets such as art is one of the benefits associated with tokenisation. However, the market is still in its infancy.

“We are implementing our plans to enter new markets globally by partnering with financial institutions, private banks and wealth managers,” said Tamer Ozmen, founder and CEO of Mintus.

“These partnerships allow qualified and accredited investors to invest alongside experienced financial institutions.”

“In this challenging inflationary environment, art investments provide strong portfolio diversification, inflation hedging attributes and strong capital preservation capabilities due to its uncorrelated nature to equities,” said Amergeris CEO Remko Van Ekelen.
